Health and safety.

The Group Health and Safety Committee is a sub committee of the Group Corporate Responsibility and Ethics Committee and is chaired by the Head of Shared Services. Regular audits are carried out against the (PDF:) Group Health and Safety Policy (PDF, 335KB).

We operate in a low risk sector; however, there are a number of areas that we consider as important in keeping our employees safe and healthy:

  • Employees operating in our offices and travelling on business
  • Muscular skeletal problems in an office based environment
  • Stress and wellbeing

Each UK location has a Health and Safety Committee set up to discuss and resolve local issues. The chair of each of these committees reports directly to the Group Health and Safety Committee. Unite representatives sit on all of these committees and main Group Committee.
